static weight load of up to three tonnes.  If you load your first pallet with a tonne of your product, and let's say that you stack your product inside strong cartons on this pallet, then you would place another pallet stacked the same way on top and now the pallet at the bottom is carrying two tonnes of product not just one.  It is utilisiong a static load of two tonnes.  It is static because it is stored, not moving.  When you need to move your pallets you move them one at a time starting with the one at the top.  In this way you are moving, or dynamically shifting one tonne only at a time.  Double stacking is often utilised in containers to make use of the height of the container.  Double stacking can also be utilised to store pallets of goods in
